Fishing in Halloween Dimension starts with Echo and the Ghost Fisherman. This guide follows the route to the Haunted Rod and the ticket challenge, then separates player-reported catches from confirmed quest information.
How to get the Haunted Rod
Helper walkthrough- Enter Halloween Dimension through the portal at spawn and start Echo’s Memories.
- Recover Echo’s four lost objects, return them and follow Echo to the pier.
- Speak to the Ghost Fisherman. The dialogue screenshot below names the reward Haunted Rod.

How to fish with “Hold to Cast”
- Equip the Haunted Rod at the Ghost Fisherman’s pier.
- Hold the casting control when “Hold to Cast” appears. Follow the prompts shown on your device rather than assuming a keyboard shortcut.
- Continue with the on-screen fishing prompts. The underwater ticket challenge described below is part of the quest route; it is not a guaranteed ordinary catch.

The underwater challenge and Phantom Express Ticket
The Helper walkthrough says to steer left or right toward the treasure chest. A separate player account describes avoiding bombs along the route and reaching the chest for the ticket. Follow the controls shown in your game. The reviewed material does not establish a fixed number of lives, a complete control scheme or a success rate. Receiving the rod alone is not the same as finishing the ticket challenge.

What can you get from fishing?
Player reportThe Phantom Express Ticket is the quest objective described by the Helper. Players also report Candy Corn, eggs and Ghost Fish from fishing. These reports are not a complete official loot table. There is no verified per-cast drop rate, guaranteed number of attempts, hourly Candy Corn yield or fishing luck formula in the reviewed sources. Reports of Spectral consumables are not enough to promise that reward from every catch.
Blood Moon’s interface announces double Candy Corn, but the collected discussion disagrees about whether fishing receives the bonus. Do not calculate a guaranteed doubled fishing payout from that banner alone.
Rod, casting or ticket problems
If casting does not start, check that the Haunted Rod is equipped, that you are at the quest pier and that you have completed the preceding Echo objective. Read the current objective and prompts before repeating the action. If an item is absent from the hotbar, also inspect your item inventory. Players have reported tickets disappearing and problems with Ghost Fish eggs; we have no verified universal fix. Record the objective, item and error for a bug report rather than treating a player workaround as an official solution.

Can I get the rod without Echo’s quest?
The documented route completes Echo’s Memories and follows Echo to the Ghost Fisherman. The reviewed evidence does not establish another unlock route.
Does fishing guarantee Ghost Fish?
No guaranteed catch count or drop chance was verified. The screenshot below shows one player’s Ghost Fish, not a promise about your next cast.
Do I need another ticket for every train ride?
The official announcement requires a ticket and gives arrivals at XX:00 and XX:30. The reviewed sources do not settle ticket consumption or reissue rules. Check your current inventory and boarding prompt.
